Black Owned Business Block Party

What can we say but WOW!!!! That was the best event we have ever had the pleasure of being apart of. I want to sincerely thank the people that put the BBB together. There was so many vendors that we didn’t get around to see all of them. But to the ones we had a pleasure to meet, We want to say keep pushing. There was so much talent, diversity, and energy to make you believe that we can build each other. To all who attended and exchanged pleasantries, please don’t hesitate to look us up and connect. Community Day

Today we were invited to do Community day with The Black Beard Brigade. Where we gave out book bags, Dave and Busters Coupons, and wristbands to cheerful kids. It was a major event and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The INDYpendent radio station was there and interviewed all that was involved so definitely be on the look out for that. We appreciate the support and love that was shown to our booth and we hope Alton enjoys his custom Jordan 4 because we made them with joy! I hope to be invited next year and as always appreciate the event that the Black Beard Brigade put on this year.

Third Pattern Magazine

We are trending in the right direction, and we are finally starting to make some waves with fashion. Let’s continue to build and get recognized for the work we put in, and the art that we put out. To anybody that stopped by and bought a shirt, we have...

It was a fairly good turnout and we were able to spread the message to a few. We want to thank those who stopped by to converse and a even bigger thanks to those who purchased a t-shirt.

Urban League Speaker

Thanks to Tionda Harris, I got to experience speaking to others about my own story. Getting a chance to tell the story of failure, pain, growth, love, and respecting my success. Knowing that I am not where I want to be, but everyday I’m moving towards what I hope to become. Telling them about my run in with the law, and growing up in a broken home, the streets I had to overcome, and how I never let it stop me, from reaching towards the rising sun. Damaged Petals is a shinning example of what we stand for and what we achieve to become. It’s true you can’t be whatever you want to be, but you can be good at...
